In observance of Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, all Wescott offices will be closed and there will be no garbage/recycling collection.  Monday's garbage/recycling will be picked up Tuesday, May 28th & normal office hours will also resume that day at 7:30 a.m.  

NEW WESCOTT OFFICE HOURS:

In order to better meet the needs of the public, the Town of Wescott Office will now open at 7:30 a.m. and remain open over the noon hour.  NEW HOURS ARE AS FOLLOWS:  MONDAY - THURSDAY 7:30 A.M. APRIL 1ST MARKS THE BEGINNING OF THE RESTRICTION ON CUTTING OAK TREES !  To preserve the health and beauty of Wescott oaks, cutting and / or trimming is restricted from April 1st through October 1st !  Permits for cutting of any oak trees are required !! Permits can be obtained from Mike Harris, Wescott Forester. You can contact him at 715-526-9807.  Violators of this ordinance will be prosecuted.  

DOG LICENSING: If you have not yet licensed your best buddy (dog, that is) you need to do so !!  Per State Statute any dog over the age of 6 months must be licensed by April 1st !  Failure to license  your pooch may result in owners being subject to a penalty and possibly a citation.  There is a $5.00 late fee for any license obtained after April 1st.  To license your dog you will need a veterinarians' certificate of rabies vaccination, $ 3.00 for spayed or neutered dogs or $8.00 for all un-spayed/un-neutered dogs and the $5.00 late fee.
